We used them for our recent moving. They sent 4 people instead of 3 that we requested and that was a blessing in disguise. Overall, those 4 guys took 10 hours moving our stuff but they were extremely professional. They took awesome care of our stuff with the wrapping and securing...we have 0% casualties. Highly recommend them.
Wow! If you want a seamless, professional move--use Hercules! From my first phone call, they returned calls quickly, came to do an estimate that night, and arrived on time the day of the move. They wrapped all furniture and equipment with plastic and blankets, took beds apart and put them back together. They were right on time with their estimate. I would highly recommend them if you are planning a move.
Price was fair, they came RIGHT on time (even earlier). The guys were super professional and fast. All of our gear came in one piece, zero damage. We highly recommend them. Eli gave us the best service, we couldn't be happier.
5. List of damaged and broken stuff is endless. At the high level, TV Stand and Lamps are broken, my King bed and coffee table is dinged and scratched. Not to mention other less valuable stuff (kitchen and baby stuff) is broken. On asking how did it break, answer received “Stuff happens- no big deal. Check with insurance”
4. They REFUSE to unload till payed in cash the entire amount
Having moved interstate and country 5 times, this was by far my WORST experience, thanks to Hercules Movers and their highly inexperienced and untrained staff. Here is why is say that:-
Not sure what else they still have of mine, and I am not sure if I trust them.
I would not recommend them for local or inter state move.
Interstate move, from Philadelphia to NYC.
1. The pickup guy overrides the price negotiated and REFUSES to the job unless the prices are jacked up by $1000. We were on tight schedule with too many dependencies so had to comply. Right out arm twisting
Very very rude and in considerate for the clients feelings and problems.
3. Delivery guys call us at 6:30 AM in the morning and wanted to deliver the stuff at 7 AM in the morning same day. They would not change his plan at all to help us as a result I had to cancel my office meetings
They left some of my items on the truck. When I couldn't find the items when unloading my storage 3 months later I called and had to drive an hour to pick them up.
I am giving them 3 stars because I was able to retrieve my items, but would not recommend them or use them again.
2. Thoroughly unprepared and untrained moving guys. They did not have tools to disassemble the beds. No bubble wraps or other equipment for packing delicate stuff. We were shocked to see that they had no clue how to pack the kitchen. They just kept dumping stuff in the boxes. We had to intervene and had to pack it ourselves.
