I brought my car to Carl's auto shop last summer to have replaced what I believed was a faulty carburetor. My car would have a jerky ride and idle state, almost like hiccups. I bought the carburetor myself and had him install it. A good mechanic would have checked to make sure that that was what needed to be replaced before actually doing it because the problem continued after the replacement. When I returned to him to fix the problem again, he found that I had a hole in my intake gasket. He claimed he replaced the intake gasket and the spark plugs as well. Keep in my mind this was a matter of 5 months ago. I get my car checked out yesterday because the problem has returned yet again. Turns out there was a big hole in my intake gasket and my spark plugs were completely shot as if they were never even replaced. I'm a college student with barely any money, and this guy had the nerve to rip me off. Don't bother with a snake like this.
